Welcome to a Journal dedicated to the Sea. You’ll find here many stories written by many different authors. The stories are experiences that the authors had with the sea. This could be a very tough voyage on an uncharted sea with a broken vessel, a close call underwater or just a nice swim in the most common beach.

ClipperSomeone could say that the only purpose of this journal is to share experiences among the authors or other sea enthusiasts. It is not mandatory that the stories have to reflect the reality, exaggeration of the facts is actually encouraged.

To make it more confusing in this journal you will find real stories (spiced up by a seaman who respects himself) and fictional stories. So welcome on board this sea journal of nearly real stories.

To me, the sea is like a person–like a child that I’ve known a long time. It sounds crazy, I know, but when I swim in the sea I talk to it. I never feel alone when I’m out there… (Gertrude Ederle)
